Yeah, there will be more clutter and statics in the hanger in the end like gantries, equipment, a few parked ships around like the Millennium Falcon wink and such, so there will be cover.

Just in the process of optimising the map a little, we got away without col meshes in testing before on this but now with 20+ or more people? Not so much. We'll get a new version in tonight and see how that fares, not totally fully broken down like the final one, but hopefully it should be by enough to make it playable.

I guess the dev knows about the ladders not working outside the base.  Also played it thisafternoon and didnt see the trench and fell in it 3 times  could be my fault but could not find a way out and fell the trench does not feel right dont know why i could just be me

We tested the ion control and trying to take that being imps.  thought inside the base is great but i think there are 3 ways to get to the ion contol but two of them are using ladders once inside the base which can be easily defended with 1 person.  So maybe another ramp way up would be good also would like to see a few more door ways cause there dont seem to be enough natural cover points. 

just thought I would tell you what I felt about it.  besides that its looking great

There will be more cover as mentioned above like crates, dislodged snow and ice mounds and that sort of thing.

The idea with the 3 routes is to give 3 levels of difficulty up, but each with pros and cons. The main ramp up would be easiest but is most likely to be defended. The first ladder route that goes all the way up is the most direct route, but if defended is potentially fatal, and the second ladder route has a better chance of an attack succeeding because the ladder goes halfway up and then it is a small ramp the rest of the way up and a series of small storage rooms that lead to the control room. The idea here is that it will take the defenders time to make it to the ladder giving the attackers a chance to get up there first and establish a defence of that position. I'm also thinking of putting in blast doors to the two storage room that have to be destroyed with det packs to get through. This would slow the defenders down further as far as getting to the ladder is concerned as they'll have to open these doors first. Also with defenders usually concentrating on the main ramp and the full ladder route, you can usually sneak around the back of them using the 3rd route. It will be a rare situation where the defending side has enough men to fully defend all 3 points, and if they mine the route that'll take out the first guy, but the next guy will make it through.

I thought the test worked well,It was quick the first two times but that last on was great,it was hard,but im sure we could have gotten it.When theres boxes and objects the  attack/deffense will be fun. But one thing that bugged me a bit was the ladders,people were up there dropping gernades down and you can't shoot them,I don't know if they could re-supplie or not.But there is the hallway up so that might fix it.The upper floors is kind of bare a bit,IF you could and a extra room higher up that would be cool,theres to two on the bottom,but higher up theres not any extra rooms to run in.Blasting doors open sounds fun!

I see the point now.  The quick access that has the two ladders that go all the way up is good but there is a room inbetween them.  The rebels defnding can see all the way down. 
How about the first ladder up brings you into the room but the second ladder after that is on the other side of the room so the imps have a place to regroup without being bombarded by frags and the rebels cant see them until they are in the room.  hopw i explained it right!!!

The scraps in corridors last night were awsome.. one prob ran into hanger 7 no wall jump thru onto ground  you run under whole  map, shoot up thru floors to kill everyone; fix  asap please..

Yeah, don't worry about that missing wall so much, someone forgot to include that part while importing the map into the game, though I'll mention no names.

As for the full ladder route up, I'm thinking of offsetting the two ladders so that the defenders won't be able to hurl grenades all the way down the shaft, hopefully that should make an attackers trip up there a little more survivable, though not too much, don't want to make it tooo easy now do I?
