Hmmm..... asside from what appeared to be a Gungan on Tatooine and a clone trooper with a lightsaber it looks pretty good. That said im not getting my hopes up, anyone remember how great battlefront 2 looked sounded and was said to be untill we discovered that space combat sucked, many of the best bf1 maps were gone and it was generally laggier and more bug filled than bf1 also? I'll probably buy it but....... I won't expect much. sad

They were both pretty rubbish. I want something very much like first strike but without the engine limitations. This mod is the best current star wars game as its not for children.

The arcadiness of the game was a bit of a problem, but it was still fun, it had that good easy to pick up and play vibe about it, though like most of you I got turned off it after the disapointing SW:BF2.

It has to be said that with First Strike we did tend to look to SW:BF (especially No 2) and say this is not the way to do it, so lets do the complete opposite. Hopefully they'll have taken a leaf out of our book and made it a little more realistic, though the shots of Jar Jar don't really support that we can always hope.

Well when it eventually comes out I guess I'll be buying it, and I'll be hoping for something akin to First Strike but with all the bells and whistles that a next gen engine can deliver. I can dream can't I?

I like one thing an one thing only: the concept of surface/air/space combat has been something that I have dreamt for sometime and could only phathom how it could be done in a game...
