Bf3 = Bad Company 2 imo.

Or that might end up being another terrible port as well. I hope not. But the was I see it is that 1943 might just be a test for the frostbite engine on PC, in the lead up to BC2

Bleh EA is so lame. A few months ago they gave us news about how there was gonna be a game that maybe was "bf3". Said that it was going to have up to 128 players and a whole bunch of other things...sadly they never live up to what they say, like with every game they make.

BF3 was only a rumour, EA and DICE denied it.

Jepp, thats exactly that DICE has said:
Nothing for the BF Hardcore Fans, but a small and quick project to get new players and test the Frostbite Engine on PC.

If you take a look at the many BF2 InfOnly / NoCommander Servers there only 3 classes are played (medic, support, sniper) this game could be also for the BF2 Hardcore Players.
They must only remove the Tanks & Aircrafts and make a Karkand map... wink

But in any case, it's the first "true" BF Game for consoles.
No Story, no campaing, only Multiplayer. Maybe it's a test for this kind of game in the console market as well.
