Re: Tie fighters and tie bombers.

but they leave in it during the end of the battle

Re: Tie fighters and tie bombers.

yes, the falcon barely started up as they were trying to escape.  It should be a static object, maybe with operable turrets.

Re: Tie fighters and tie bombers.

Hmm, but if the Falcon was static and had working cannons, and the Imperials captured Echo Base, wouldn't that be a perfect formula for spawncamping?

Re: Tie fighters and tie bombers.

i hate static objects. I want to be able to play battles how i want. Isnt that tha point of battlefield. Its what sets battlefield apart from other games like soccom or u know other fps. So for that reason it should not be static. but it should be patked in the hanger similar to to the movie

Re: Tie fighters and tie bombers.

Its okay to have a few statics like mgs or towers

Re: Tie fighters and tie bombers.

Well maybe for another map we can do spin off for the falcon? Remember when Vader nearly captured it? We could do somthing like that.

Re: Tie fighters and tie bombers.

The falcon wouldn't become a spawn camping issue if it were only enterable by rebels.  This technique was used in BF:1942 to prevent enemies from stealing/camping destroyers, battleships, subs, and aircraft carriers.
