No idea if the comments were a little tongue in cheek there or not
Missed the games this weekend cause RL is cropping up more and more at the minute. Shame really as I quite miss the old FS games. Will try to get on this week. As the kids get older though they obviously require more time and naturally family takes precedence.
Anyway, back to this clan stacking thing. Was it clan stacking? Were people joining then trying to team swap to join clan buddies? Or was there a concerted effort by clan members waiting for an oppurtunity to join the game only when teams were off balanced, so that they naturally appeared to join that team and couldn't possibly be blamed because the game did it?
Now, I personally do not have a problem with clan stacking, except when it causes the game to start becmoing unbalanced. I play games for fun, I accept losses with wins (though anyone that plays with me knows how I hate to see things go wrong!), but if one team is consistently hammering the other by a large margin, then I would say it is stacked and would prefer to see something done to balance it.
I too prefer to be on the same team as my clan mates, or other people I have fun playing the game with. I've joined the game on the same team as a couple of BI members and joined them on vent/teamspeak. I find it fun and enjoyable being part of a squad that is often the only one using team work to hold a flag or attack it. Even when we lsoe its been fun, purely because of that comaraderie. Bi often get the flack, from me and others, because they are the dominant clan (by that I mean largest, not skill set
) and so it is more noticeable.
If I play another game and see one team consistently hammering the other, I leave or try to team swap. In FS I can't do that because we often struggle to get even one server going.
However, the question has to be asked, are we losing players or not gaining new ones because the servers are empty, or because our forums are often full of this bickering over clan dominance?
