It might be possible to make an ISD move if it was a PCO (without interiors naturally), but still, I'd say the best bet for this type of map would be two static capital ships duking it out, with maybe player controlled hardpoints. Would still require an MC80 model and larger interior for the ISD.

If we're talking about moving capitals, I'd love to see Dreadnaught vs. MC40 one day.

I believe that was tried during early phases of the mod, but the impact of such a huge object moving created major lag issues. Two would probably end up melting your internets.

Well if it's a map without fighters, why not scale down the 2 ships to a manageable size?

Although, would that mean that you might have to cheat with poly counts to keep em looking good?

I thought of an idea, how about they don't have to move but their turbo lasers still shoot at each other but they don't do any real damage in the game, just to make it seem epic.
