I have exactly the same problem as you Hunter, and this is how I sort it.

I always had problems with BoY as I run Nvidia and Vista but recently it starts to load the level and then freezes and shows a picture of Yavin and Yavin 4 and I occasionally get laser streaks across the screen in the background but it will not bring me to the deploy screen.

Any ideas, this has happened since I installed v1.3.

AAha    I got Vista and Nvidea.   So is there a driver to fix that?

I eventually found a server which let me play one of the maps. After that I could play that map on any server, it just took a bit of time then to do that for all the new maps.

BUT when I joined the map where to fight the death star for the first time the game crashed to windows.
I tryed over and over again but I always had the same problem.

Anyone has the same?
