Topic: Cannot update Battlefield 2142; FS crashes on startup

Hi,

some might remember me when I was still playing First Strike, so yeah, I'm pretty much trying to get back.
Problem, my BF2142 meat hole training up. I got version 1.40, trying to install 1.51, it says I already have an older version applied.
Another problem, First Strike crashes on startup, but I guess that's because of the patch.
Any idea why I can't patch my game?

Sounds to me like you're missing a patch. Did you also install BF2142 1.5? If not that could be the missing piece in your puzzle. Make sure you have BF2142 up and running correctly before you even think of installing First Strike.

Fixed it. I indeed forgot 1.5, but I thought it wasn't necessary.
Well, next problem would be that I can't find any servers, but the last time I tested it was around 2 am GMT +1, so yeah.

Make sure you have your server browser set up like so.

I do.
I only get these servers:
BlackIntel NIC Server
=SBB= FirstStrike
Rebel Defiance;
And they're all marked red.

Wait, how do you get the First Strike Servers Tab?
I only get Fast, Advanced, and History tabs once I clicked on the Multiplayer Tab.
I use the First Strike Launcher to start FS, and I have to, otherwise I can't play BF2142 in 1920 x 1080.
