Yeah, we're probably going to have to look at further optimizing the station mesh as it does stutter a bit in there on occasion. Still fun to play, but we'll have to see what we can do to smooth things out a little.

We can increase the bot count on the co-op maps, if you're talking about larger map sizes for co-op too that is a little more involved unless the entire map has been made bot friendly, Dnamro is already working towards this and making more and more sophisticated map assets bot compatible. Just look at how well they perform on Nesmazzda and that small combat area on Jundland.

However what we really need to show people what this mod is really capable of is more people playing. We've had a steady trickle, but nowhere near the numbers expected, a full server of live players is what is really going to allow this mod to shine and bring more people into the fold, so we need to work towards making that happen. Come on clans and community members, let's get some big games organized.

Ok I just tried Mos Entha Co-Op on Kam's server and I couldn't spawn. It just told me "joining battle in 0"and I also couldn't spawn on a squad leader. I was on the rebel team. I tried rejoining the server but that didn't help.

EDIT: Switched teams to Imp and I could spawn. Strange.

EDIT 17: I was trying to spawn as an officer. That's why. Co-op doesn't support the officer class yet?

It does but you have to be sl of a squad remember. Also EA screwed up with 1.51 and you can't be SL of a bot squad in coop.

Oh right, don't you need to create a squad, spawn(with regular kit), then you can choose officer when you respawn? Been ages since I played.

Oh yes, you can create your own squad and should then be able to choose officer when you respawn.

Yeah, was quite annoying that, meant that from then on you could only be a squad leader to a bot squad in a local game. Though sometimes you get lucky on-line and a live player joins the server which results in the bot squad leader being kicked to make room, and then you get thrust into command. Which is nice.

Is there a way I can run more bots than 24 on the server? Would it be possible to pump it up to around 64?

Ah, figured it out. Got the server on 40v40 now. Lets see how it runs.

Edit 2:
I wouldn't mind seeing some more vehicles on some of the co-op maps. I really feel like we can get the combined arms feel from Null Sensor Station and Rhen Vhar ice plains on some more maps. Even if it's only a few walkers or two.

Server seems to be stable at 40v40, so there are some crazy battles going down.
