Now, the kits are customized to the maps for singleplayer/coop. Infantry maps will have only infantry specific weapons in the kits. This can be customized to the specific 16, 32, 64 mode, so if 16 player is close quarter combat, then it will have close quarter kits, which would have the additional shotgun type CR1 rifle/Flechette. The Packard mortar gun is available as an additional grenade launcher type weapon in the heavy weapon kit for bigger infantry based maps. The rocket launcher type weapons, such as the HH15 are now only available as an additional weapon on the vehicle maps. The basic concept is to have the weapons available in the kits to meet the specific needs of the map. This results in much better bot use of handweapons. I am also stopping bots from using melee weapons since they don't use them very well. Bots now supply ammo and heal much better than before, but I also reduced the bot's ability to revive to reduce the undying bot cycle. There will also be automatic stationary guns.
So, the maps singleplayer maps that I plan to add from FSX are:
Outpost Hoth - Snowspeeders have been in the mod for some time now and Outpost Hoth has had them. Now it will have an ATAT.
Anchorhead - land vehicles and infantry battles.
Carbone - Infantry focused
Carbone Island - Infantry focused with one ATAT
Walker Battle - two modes speederbike only and ATST vs ATPT
Desert Battle - Combined Arms battle with tanks and aircraft.
Bloodgulch - Halo inspired map with ATPTs
Rhen Var Citadel is an infantry only that was almost ready to be released but then the mapper that was working on it left the team and it never got finished. I added singleplayer support to it last year and will release as is. It has a few minor issues, but nothing too bad, just not as polished as the team wanted.
Also:
I plan to regenerate a new navmesh for Endor clearing. The map was changed but the navmesh was never generated, due to issues with new custom trees. That issue was resolved, but never got released because I was working on adding support for the Ewok village. Ewok Village support won't be in there, but at least bots will stop running into trees as much.
I also plan on navmeshing the courtyard for Dathomir prison.
Also, I can release map packs for the BF2142 maps converted for First Strike play. I am trying to stay away from adding in maps that have many BF2142 objects into the mod, even though I have added in the BF2142 to First Strike texture pack that replaces all the billboards with Star Wars recruiting style posters and some of the 2142 symbols with imperial/rebel symbols.
So, this will be a new release, not just an update.
