Topic: Where I can get Battlefield 2142 ??

hello,

First of all, forgive my English, not domain.
I'm New Here,  I recently discovered this mod  and I'm excited to play. I've taken a look at the tutorials and downloaded the mod, but I see I need the base game, Battlefield 2142.
As much as I look on the internet, I am unable to find the game to buy. Maybe should be discontinued in origin does not appear.
My question is this, any of you know where I can buy Battlefield 2142 ??

If it is true that no longer for sale, could you tell me how to play first strike? There is some little battlefield 2142 version that I can use to play the mod?

While waiting for a solution to my little problem.

Hi there Nicuss, I'm afraid that as far as getting a copy of BF2142 through legitimate means you're out of luck. Since EA never released this game on Steam before it cancelled support for the game. The only thing I can suggest is picking up a second hand copy through something like ebay. That would allow you to play. You no longer need to worry about registering the game for on-line play (often an issue with purchasing second hand games) as you can only play First Strike off-line now anyway.

oh ... thanks for your answer , you left me a little sad. So there is no way to play online ? Seems that 've discovered later this mod ... sad

It might be possible in the future. Mods for BF2 have found a workaround to allow on-line play, but unfortunately the way BF2142 works is slightly different, so the workaround they have used won't work for us. LAN games might be possible through facilities such as GameRanger, but you'd have to look into that.
