Topic: Applying for Static Modeler

I submitted an application form, and I hope you like it.  There were only three slots for online examples so I thought I'd post a few here.  I'm not very good at making textures but I can if I have to.  I'm very good at UVW unwrapping/wrapping so if somebody else makes the texture map, I can do the rest.  Enough banter, here are some examples:


First up is my most complete model to-date, it is the swedish HKP-9.  I modelled it, made the textures, and skinned it myself.  The textures aren't that great, but I thought the model turned out well. (Made for Rising Conflicts)

The next is the new fast attack submarine, the SSN-774, the USS Virginia. (Also made for Rising Conflicts)

Next up is a simple bunker that I modelled for a map I was making at the time.

This next model is a concussion missile concept that I made after I became interested in the FS mod.

The next three images are all static models that I made for a map, but never got them in-game.  The first is a weapons factory, rendered in wireframe so it is easier to see the insides.

The second is a guard tower.

And last, the third is a simple bridge I made for a particular span in my map.

Next up is a dance club scene that I just started working on. Once I finish the club, I'm going to animate Halo characters dancing around to some dirty hip-hop, oh yeah.

The following models were made by other people, but I either manipulated them in some way, or animated them.

The first is an image of an Elite from Halo 2 stabbing Masterchief with a plasma sword.  I took the character models in 3DS max 7, and posed them using skeletal structures. (I'm using a variation of this render as my wallpaper right now)

My final example is of a Pelican dropship from Halo:CE next to another Pelican dropship that I remodelled to look like a close air support fighter for the Halo universe.  There weren't any ships like this in the UNSC arsenal at the moment, so I used a pelican frame and textures to create this fighter.

That's right. We got big maps which needs filling, you could be of great use i'm sure.
