Topic: More TIE Fighters...(Don't flame me!)

Okay, last time when I brought this topic up on the Galactic Conquest forums had nearly no hair left due to all the flames I recieved. Thanks to many hours of surgery and a nice toupee, I'm ready to discuss this topic on the First Strike forums. You see, I think that there should be more TIE fighters. Sure, the TIE, TIE Bomber, TIE Interceptor, and TIE Advanced are all great, but we need a little more flavor! More pizazz! What about the TIE Hunter? TIE Phantom? TIE Crawler? Now I know a lot of these are EU or fictional, but hey, it's a video game! This may seem like a stupid idea at first, but please at least consider it.

Voot voot,

Tater

Re: More TIE Fighters...(Don't flame me!)

We are open to including these. What we want to offer is a good balanced and fun offering for all.
Now Im not that au fait with a lot of EU stuff to be honest im more a purist when it comes to SW but that doesent mean we cannot include these craft IF gameplay permits ie; is balanced and true to SW Lore.

How about posting some screenies ? smile Btw we are focusing for the main on the Galactic Civil War.
You can rest easy with the Wig now !

Inventing your own vehicles would be kindof dumb, but there are a couple land ties.

The mauler: Very fast, Good for running people over, and has tri-laser cannons mounted on the front. ALso has a self destruct option for large explosive radus.

Then the TIE crawler: I dont know much about it. Seems like Mauler senior to me.

What would you have for the UAV Drone for the Rebel Alliance ? It has to exist and it has to be in SW Lore either EU or otherwise. smile Pics and info appreciated.

Well, seeing as im such a starwars Geniouse, and video gaming master, I can help you with this UAV problem.

You would want something smaller than a imp probe droid, seeing as you wouldnt want it easily destroyd. So, why not use one of these?

For the imperials, an imp Mark IV Sentry droid. Small, fast, flys in the air.

Fore the rebels, possably one of these:

The Training remotes in starwars are mainly used for training, but it has many sensors in it that could allow it to be used as a recopn device. they are pretty quick and agile, and would be ahrd to knock out (basically like the current UAVs).

SO thouse 2 are possabilities. They are smal, fast, and can fly high jsut like the current UAVs.
