Topic: Capital Ships

Hello I've found your sight and I'm very interested, I just have a few questions.

How big are the capital ships going to be in terms of halls, corridors, random rooms? I read in the interview that there would be a bridge, but will there be any other rooms such as a reactor room, shield generator room, or an engine room? Also, just curious, but how much, percentage wise, has been done for the first release. Don't mean to rush you guys or anything I'm just curious.

I believe the first release will be coming very soon but who knows.

I hope capital ships will be huge like the aircraft carriers in BF2 with rooms though

Thats what I'm hoping for too. What I liked about BF1942 and GC was that I could go exploring inside the vehicles and planets

I want these ships to be HUGE! Static on the map but HUGE! I want to explore every last inch of them.

Same for me. GC was lacking in that area, I mean at first I was shocked because I never expected that BF42 could do that in a map. But mostly the ships were just a bridge, one hallway, and then the hangar. Judicator was the exception, that took a lot of exploring, it was so huge smile.

A model has been posted regarding the size of the Star Destroyer and I can tell you, me thinks it will make GC look microscopic. As for the release, I've heard rumors of four maps making it into R1, three land and one space map, but this is just rumor and nothing is guarenteed untill the Developing Team posts it.

Aircraft carriers are small they should be 3 times bigger.
