Topic: I have the high ground so i am beter then you..... right?

Now we have all seen episode III great movie (but not as good as the old ones) but almost at the end of the movie in the duel betwen anikan and obi-wan, obi-wan get the high ground.... now my question is what make the high ground so beter, anikan can just jump in front of obi-wan, i relly dont get why having the hight ground mean that its over for anikan....

Its kinda a basic rule of battle, the higher ground almost always win. Mainly because they can see everything and can strike down instead of trying to go up. With anakin and obi, anakin could not jump high enough and far enough to get over obi-won, so he sliced him. smile

remember Episode I, Darth Maul was also on 'higher ground' when he pushed Obi Wan in those pit, but Obi Wan won the fight, so it is not completely right I guess
