I really liked the Jundicator map (sorry for bringing it up) but one major thing I found wrong with it was sometimes it could become really, unfocused. What I mean is you'd expect that when a ship is fighting off borders that the command bridge would be issuing orders right and left, organizing a defence. Maybe shutting heavy doors in one area, in an attempt to funnel enemy forces into kill zones. Maybe some pop out turrents, or security cameras and stuff. It would be really neat if in the bridge was a whole array of tools the crew could use to control the situation, like a bank of like 3 security camera consoles. The users could switch between multiple cameras and maybe even pop out turrents. Door controls pretty important too I think. Though they should be breachable. And there should definetly be some cool alarm system that the defenders could use, like a switch they could use in certain areas (like the hangar, engine room) that would sound an auidible alert through out the entire ship that the area was under attack. Little stuff like that to make every thing seem more organized.
