Topic: Assault GunBoats

Hello, I was looking through the lists of ships and noticed that the rebels have one more star fighter then the Imperials. I went looking through the list of ships from games like X-Wing vs Tie Fighter and Star Wars: Rebellion and noticed you didn't have the Assault GunBoat which is close to the Imperial equivalent to a B-Wing.

Shielding, two ion cannons, two laser cannons and a nice payload I think it would be nice to even things out between the rebel ships and Imperial ones.

Hello, WELCOME to the forums! Is the gunboat from the EU? If so, it may not be added yet. Right now, the Developer Team is trying to focus mainly around the MU for the first release, and then move on from there. I believe Galactic Conquest also was planning to have the gunboat, but canceled it.

It was not in any of the movies, but then again neither was the B-Wing... the assult gunboat is in all most all starwars games as a standard starfighter for the Empire and is the Empires answer to the B-Wing.

The Bwing was in episode 6 defending the rebel fleet, form the second death Star, so it is not EU. However I have never heard of the assult gunboat which is definately EU. The reason the rebelion has more fighter is becuase thats is what they are best at.

haha, indeed.  I also petitioned heavily for the Escort Shuttle, but that never came to fruition.  Maybe those will be my next projects, we shall see.  I still have a couple of weeks of school left before I can really do much of anything.
