Topic: Battle of Hoth

I was thinking, for the Battle of Hoth after the Imperials have destroyed the Shield Generator, that the battle completely shifts towards fighting in echo base. This could be done by using a method similar to that found in the Push Map mode found in the FH series of games. where once an outpost is taken the defender can no longer retake it. This way when the shield generator is destroyed the Rebels are actually forced to retreat and cannot retake any outposts other than those found in Echo Base. This would promote an infantry battle and make the fight for Echo Base very difficult for the Imperial Team and give the Rebels more of a reason to work together and hold on to their cps. It would also prevent any imperials from taking Echo Base prematurely.

I like that. And because I hear the base is going to be large, have several flags on different floors of Echo Base so the Rebels still have a chance with out being drained.

Re: Battle of Hoth

Not everything on Wookieepedia can be taken as accurate; I'm not sure where they're getting their info that other kinds of walkers besides AT-AT's and AT-ST's were present, and where they got the idea that Juggernauts were present as well.

I'm assuming that is based on concept art of the Empire landing on Hoth, showing Juggernauts being unloaded from Star Destroyers. But concept art cannot always be considered canon. The end result, the movie, should be the ultimate form of canon. Taking all of this into account, Juggernauts should clearly not be in the Battle of Hoth.

Get Cloned.

Re: Battle of Hoth

Good point. The original statementsy on the forums was that the development team is going to stick as close to MU as possible and then work with EU.

Re: Battle of Hoth

No problem, I was just wondering if any of us should anticipate seeing it on the battlefield. I am in favor of sticking to movie canon.
