Topic: Commander Deployables
Hers a list of what might be good commander deployables:
Ground Combat
-Vehicles- Hopefully even the mighty AT-AT could be made deployable by the commander.
-Defense turrets- heres how this would work- commander picks a spot and dropship comes and deploys a turret. For the rebels the Anti-personal turrets seen on hoth. For imperials small versions of the huge turbolasers.
-Defense shields- small, but big enough to cover a cp these shields would deflect any bombardment for a given period of time. Would give grunts a fighting chance until reinforcements arrived. This could also be done by an engineer class if not by commander.
-Probot- basically goes around map searching for enemies.
Space Combat
-Death Star- Imperial only, very long recharge and warm up time. Would look really cool seeing the beam come out and causing massive amounts of damage on a Rebel Mon Calmari Starship.
-Corvette- Either Lancer or Blockade runners could be called in for some reinforcements. Maybe AI controlled so that they go around the map destroying enemies.
Ship Specific
-Increase Shields/Firepower/Engines- an ability that allows the commander of a capital ship to increase either the shields, firepower, or engines in a battle for a short period of time.
Some of these should be map specific since you can't call in a turret from a dropship in Hoth if the Imperials are in orbit.
Just a few so far, anyone else has any others just say so.
