Not sure about that because if you try to manuver to avoid the shots then u go into them instead. And If you dont then it sort of defeats the purpose?

I don't see what the problem is. You'll notice the deployable turrets and drones in 2142 aren't super accurate. Why would Ai controlled ship cannons be any different?

if you try to manuever then you get hit just as much as you were... the lasers are still random.

I'm sure we will be able to tweak the AI accuracy untill we reach a good balance of gameplay.

Hi guys, I really like this idea. What would be cool is if the accuracy of the AI controled guns was dependant on some "skill" level of the pilot.  Not sure how that would work. Maybe on # of medals flying spaceships?

I would really like to see a Battle of Endor map where the SSD appears and lots of ISDs and MCs, it could be an objactive mode map where the jobs of the Rebels is to fly to the 2nd Death Star and destroy it's core, it could also fire on the Rebel's ships. Since the Rebel's MCs could be easly destroyed by the Death star there should be a 2/3 minutes countdown before it can fire again and in order to balance it the Rebel's commander could deploy more MCs.

That map you just suggested would have to be 10x the maximum space of a BF2 map.
