Task force? The lag would be created because.. the BF2 (bf2142) engine doesnt hand'e big props well.. I hope 2142 does. I would love to see moving capital ships.

In GC the map anchorage or something had a flying skyhopper in the sky and there was no lag.

anchorhead, but that wasn't battle, they also had ambient noises.... Ambient noises would be great
