Topic: BF2 tactics

If anyone wants to share their wonderful battlefield 2 tactics here, please do.  My way of playing in BF2 is using the grenade launcher to it's fullest potential.  Once you can master the aiming curve, you own anyone who goes prone against you or, if you're good enough, random people running around. It may be primitve but it gets the job done smile

Well I always either play as a medic or a sniper. When I play as a medic I like to stay slightly behind my squad, so that when conflict starts the enemys reveal their positions by attacking me mates. Then I move in and use that british rifle (the cool one with the green cooling thing on the front, and with the mag in the back, the LA something or another) on single shot and go for head shots. Then I revive me mates if they died. Rinse and repeat.
If I'm sniping I usually try to take one for the team, and focus on area denial over kill counts. If you can find yourself a nice position where you can cover multiple flags, you can pretty effectively force enemies away from flags and into cover for long periods. At least thats whats supposed to happen. Often as not I get knocked out by snipers already in position.
