Right, good old POE 2 (which sad hardly anyone plays anymore as the demo of Bf2142 came out about a month after it did) had normal weaps for all the kits, and super weaps which a few of were on each map. These included a heavy MG, 1 shot kill armour-piercing sniper rifles (which could only shoot while prone), heavy AT missile, AA missile, and rapid fire sniper rifle.

Anyway, the point is that it brought extra weapons into the game without unbalancing it. You could argue the G36E is too good now, it could be made pickup-only to limit the numbers of people using it.
