Topic: The New Update.

Wow, has it really been a year? That was a great reflection there Xero. Those WIPS are also very welcomed since it's been a while since we've seen lots of in-game screen shots. And besuides, even if the trees are still Work in Progress, they look good non-the-less. Is that a door I see on the bunker?

Dice hardcoded shaders in one of their patches so it means (at least on the bf2 engine) you get horrible distorted trees ..it is amplified due to the size of the trees.

So, instead of just modeling them and skinning them with the proper skins weve held off making final skins for them until we know exactly how were gonna be doin the trees....i wanted to see how the new bf2142 alpha blend feature would affect us in this department aswell, before 100% finalising the trees.
Im pretty sure sure now , that we can get far more trees in the mod (after playin bf2142) and start workin on adding lots of ground foliage.

You could say weve been very tentative, when its come to Endor foliage and trees in the bf2 engine
