Well, I've been enjoying the BF2142 demo for the past week, however, I've noticed some minor technical errors which have been disrupting my game. Those errors, namely, lag. Now, honestly, I don't think it's my system (AMD3800+, ATi X800PRO), but, I could be mistaken. For most of the game I can run fine on all full (except for dynamic shadows/light), but, sometimes I experience minor spurts of lag. This generally happens when I spawn in a mobile transport. I've heard some rumors about the servers being a little buggy, is this true? But, okay,  my real question is, what is causing these sporadic lag bursts?

P.S: Why is there no option for 1280X1024 resolution? I run almost all my games on 1280X1024; it is disappointing to not have it as an option.
