Topic: Look Ma, No Hands!
I was wondering about this for awhile... I noticed that when your in the vehicles in 2142 your 1st person view doesn't show your hands on the steering wheel, for example in the jeep. It just shows the wheel, which magically turns itself. So I was wondering if FS is going to have 'magic wheels' or ones with your hands on it. I'd love to see the pilot's hands when your in first person view in a x wing or tie. Would be even cooler to see the hands press buttons on a moving joystick when you do stuff. So anyways, FS, hands on or off?

I agree with you. I just now noticed that too, lol. Yeah, it'd be great if we could see hands on joy-sticks/yokes, etc. Even though it doesn't make that much difference, it's abit of extra realisim.

It would look very stupid if this: http://www.fsmod.com/img/sshot1_lrg_sbikecontrols.jpg Didnt have hands on it... Steering wheels I can deal with but speeder bikes HAVE to have hands...

Re: Look Ma, No Hands!
Interestingly, 1942 also had hands on wheels and all that. Now, I don't actually do any of this stuff (my responsibilities hold me elsewhere), but I think something broke between then and now. If anyone spots any vehicles or items in BF2 or 2142 that had a first person perspective holding on to a vehicle, post here. Something like a stationary gun, or jeep, or any of that.

Re: Look Ma, No Hands!
We can have hands on the speederbike ..as part of the speederbike 1p model....... problem is it would be the same pair of hands whoever was using it. Unless there is some other way to do it ..
