Topic: Package Deilivery!

Would it be possible for transport craft to drop supply/medic crates to people.  It would be a fun variation of teamwork to ride around on a high speed vehicle getting teamwork points and helping your team at the same time.  If you were a medic you could drop medic crates from the craft and if you were a support, you could drop supply crates.  It's not the coolest idea but I think it would be a fun addition to the game if it is possible.(Not asking for this in R1)

PS sorry for the typo in the name

Yes. They also did this in Forgotten Hope

You know, for such a simple idea, I love it big_smile
Giving transport craft an ammo/health/supply crate (like the ones that the commander can send), would be a great team play advancing feature imo

Re: Package Deilivery!

Yea but make them drop like the bombs in BF142 so its still takes skill to drop supplies in the right place. With like trusters or soemthing instead of parachutes.

*Expanded Idea*

Have the supplies drop like a real bomb in some sort of canister and when it hits the ground make a lots of dust fly up and in the dust have the supplies that were dropped spawn a bunch of props that look like ammo/guns and such like they flew out when the package landed. Which would actually function like ammo resupply... But in a larger area.

that might be too large of a radius... however I like the idea of thrusters rather than a parachute.  I was thinking each of the craft get around 5 crates that get about a 10m radius, then a long reload until the next five crates(only two sets of crates and have a very long reload time to keep from spamming).  The thruster idea makes me like this idea even more, ty TY2D2 smile   Also, I think certain land vehicles should be able to leave behind a crate too.

Re: Package Deilivery!

I personally want transports to drop giant crates with AT-STs inside.  That may be reaching a bit high though.  (Oh, and Zanth91, please check your forum PM or email)

Re: Package Deilivery!

I didn't mean stuff to be scattered around everywhere but have like a little area like 6-7 feet across with a sort of opened up/exploded tube/canister with guns and ammo hanging out with stuff around it a little bit...
