Topic: Unlocks

Just a question....

How do plan to handle unlocks, if they will at all be in the game. Using the same sytem as 2142 would cause players to run about with the best unlock weapons all the time. So what you say...
But hey! Shouldn't storm trooper have the e-11 carbine, not some "cool" and better gun?

So are you guys planning on giving the stormtroopers a new gun or will the unlock look the same but be an E-11 just a bit better?
I think having upgrades that gave your gun a better scope, then a better stock then muzzel and so on would be cool but thats just me...

Unlocks , as in unlocking new weapons when you get ranks cant be implemented into mods.

What we hope to do is give you all the weapons for you to make your customization.

Most cases we have weapons directly from the movie..some have had to be pulled from outside them tho.

1 thing i can tell you is ATM the Imp assault will always have an E-11 ..wether that be the E-11 or the E-11b..both with strengths and weakness' to suite your choice of gameplay.

If there was the option, I would say no.  It makes it less fun for the people that dont play much. I'm not saying I wont play it much, but talking for the players that might D/L the mod a few months after it comes out and getting owned more than they should. (if at all tongue)

I like the whole Pre-Unlocked idea where no gun is really "better" than the other. Like Bandu said. It will work much better that way.

Ah good, I like this system. Oh and by the way, what is the difference between the E-11 and the E-11b?

I believe the e-11b is more of a long-range rifle
