Topic: How to apply for a Beta Spot

Don't.  big_smile  Or, more precisely, we aren't accepting applications for beta testing at this time.  While we are managing a small testing community (our "Alpha Testers") they were hand-picked from the community.  The good news is we will be looking for a handful more alpha testers in the coming weeks, however again we won't be accepting applications.  Instead, we'll be going through our community here on the forums (and IRC) looking for people with these qualities:

1) Has been a member of our community for some weeks or months now.  This is actually important as it demonstrates dedication as they are willing to stick through the toughness of waiting for updates.  And we literally are running our alpha crew nonstop so dedication is high on our list of priorities
2) Is willing to post interesting comments and have discussions on the content that is released
3) Is willing to speak their ideas and thoughts even if others disagree with them, though can maintain themselves with civilized discourse and be willing to accept things that don't go their way.
4) Is known in the community (recommendations are a big part of how we look for people, either from our testers, the community, or from devs)
5) and finally, owns a copy of BF2142

Now, the last one is the only one we really can't tell from reading your forum posts, so If I could get everyone who'd be interested in becoming a tester (though this is in no way a garrantee) please post in this thread stating that you own a copy of BF2142.  Other than that, we wish you luck and hope to have more updates to show everyone soon smile

FS Team:

I would like to drop my name in the hat for becoming a tester.  I was a tester for the final releases of GC.  FS I know can be so much more than GC ever was.  So I would like to add my name to the list of people interested in becoming testers.

Please feel free to email me any info, and yes, I have Bf2142.

Thanks,
Magik
