Well it looks like they are keeping the core characters, but reimagining them a bit, it seems to be a bit of a General Motors ad in that they've scrapped the cars the original toys were based on in favor of their cars, Bumblebee who used to transform into a VW Bug/Beetle is now a Ford Cammero or something. Optimus Prime is still a truck, but with a different paint scheme, Starscream is still a jet etc. But Megatron is no longer a gun, I believe they've made him into some super weird tank or something, though I could be wrong.

All in all it looks like they've made the robot designs a lot more alien looking, which works for me. As long as it doesn't end up being another Pearl Harbor (After all Micheal Bay is involved) I'll be happy. Seeing giant monster robots tearing up the city though, what's not to like?

i have seen the megatron tan in some serie. but the bot coming up from the sand in the desert seems to be Scorponok's. never seen him , cause the series i saw hewas in only 3 episodes.. oke
