Topic: Flashers! I need some Flashers!

Aloha.

Do any of you know your way around flash? Or more importantly ActionScript?

A couple of buddies and I are in pre-production of an online flash rpg (via AdventureQuest/DragonFable) to start us off. It'll be a nice stepping stone for what we want to do later.

So far we can open Flash 8. -Hey it's a start.
I can make a basic engine that includes moving, animation, item pickups, mapbuilding, and a rough start on swinging a weapon.

It's a start smile
All the content is pretty planned, but we just need to get started with getting a decent engine. I know that's the whole core of it.

In the meantime we'll be reading up on how to work through this scripting -shutters-.
It'll be great once we get some foundation.

If by some chance you want to pitch in email me: empyers@gmail.com

Alright, adiosh.

Sure dude but does them mean you wont be around for FS anymore ? hmm

www.flashkit.com is probably a good place to start.

No. FS takes me a few hours to make a model. This is a side thing to start up our production company which is #1 on any list.

Hit me up on MSN (ells228@hotmail.com) I may be able to help you out.

Example of a game I made for an old clan:

Arrgh, yar... arr ar arrgh!

Re: Flashers! I need some Flashers!

I agree Ramseus but it depends on what they want to achieve. Targeting in Flash is very easy (as you can see from my game).
I also started a car racing game where you race with 2 players on one keyboard, or over the Net, or against a computer, but never got around to finishing it :-(
