Topic: V-Wing and more

Any plans to put in the V-Wing for the rebels like in Rogue Squadron 1 ? The empire could have the TIE-MK II , TIE-Phantom, TIE-Defender and the counterpart for the V-Wing should be the TIE-Droid.

All but the TIE Phantom just look too silly to impliment, if you ask me.  I would *LOOOVE* to get the phantom in-game though (even without a cloaking device)

Perhaps it could be implemented into the planned Calamari map? It was a beast to fly, with the boost jets and rapid lasers.

Except for the MK II and the TIE Defender (would LOVE a Defender, btw!!!) aren't all these ships from a POST Ep VI timeframe? I know the V-Wing and TIE Droid didn't show up until the Battle of Calamari six years after Endor, and the Phantom TIE never even saw mass production (the prototype was destroyed by rebel agents)

The TIE Defender would be really nice though - it was always my favourite TIE ship from the old TIE Fighter playing days.
