How can you tell the difference between fake and real if they haven't even put it out for us to see yet?

And besides there is no "real" space physics in relation to starwars anyways.

Play Asteroids, and play X-Wing.
Real, and fake space physics.

Re: Stopping in space

Well at the end of empire strikes back the falcon "stops" then uses its repulcers to lift it into the docking clamp does it not...

and as for the camping outside a shield im not quite sure if sitting out side a shield is a very good idea to begin with... but im farly sure even if it did work somone would be out in space and swing around and blow them up and having turbolazers fireing at you dosent help ...because where your stoped you will be a sitting duck your not going anywhere and your a very easy target so based on that it would be very hard to camp outside one to begin with

now for the gravity issue thingy tongue heres my thoughts.  now i suppose you all know about the Rouge squadron game well the reason ships dident stop in that is well lets face it most of it was on ground and guess what happens when you shut off your engines when your on a planet with GRAVITY! thats right you fall to the ground and crash...in space there is no gravity and in the starwars world when you shut of your engines you stop...when somone disables your engines you stop when somone blows up your engines you stop ect ect... plus it gives an intresting tactic to dogfighting.  Someone following you shut off your engines they fiy right buy you keep going big_smile

yay i made a longish post for once

Re: Stopping in space

IN space if you turn off your engines you don't stop you keep a contant speed. Unless you start thrusting in the opposite direction. In, REAL space anyways.

In starwars space yo udon't stop either... but it kinda depends how you look at it... I guess...

It doesn't stop, it slows down to match the speed of the Nebulon medical frigate, making it LOOK like it's stopped wink

Re: Stopping in space

When Killerewok said "stop" I think he just meant you lose control of your ship and keep travelling at the speed you were travelling at when you had your engines disabled . Look at his last sentance..
