Topic: Question Regarding Blaster Functionality

I'm curious as to how much of a weapon's functions are going to be implemented and can be implemented. For example, the Blastech E-11 blaster rifle. Standard Imperial shock infantry weapon and the scourge of Rebel forces.

1) Will the sniper scope be a usable feature?

2) Will the pull out stock (for aiding in sniping and accuracy) be a usable feature?

3) Will we be able to adjust the weapon's power level and selector switch for fire setting (semi-auto, fully-auto, etc.; including the infamous stun blast)?

Of course, some of these inquiries would apply to other weapons, but I was just wondering if these features are going to be implemeted or if they even can be implemented.

Personally, I would LOVE it. I think it would be fantastic to have full use of each weapon like their on-screen counter parts (yes, even for the ones we didn't get to see in action). lol lol

Re: Question Regarding Blaster Functionality

1 and 2 are features that we will probably ignore due to gameplay. Its not very balanced to have an assault rifle that can be used as a sniper

3. Semi auto and full auto is there .We are still debating whether to have stun because the engine only allows 2 fire modes. To add a stun feature it would have to be a seperate gun. 50-50 really.

Re: Question Regarding Blaster Functionality

If you set the draw time to almost nothing for the stun, it wont be that different from switching fire-modes.

Ah. Thanks for the heads up. Gameplay definately is the key. wink

The time it takes to take out your weapon.
