Topic: Battlefield 2142: Northern Strike

I very much hope first strike will not be moved onto this when it comes out. I’m sick of EA releasing expansions that should be free add-ons. I played special forces and euro force for about twenty  minutes before I got sick of them.

AFAIK that's not in the planning, FS is based on 2142, and the addons don't really matter

I don't think they will and last thing i herd is that EA don't really like people using stuff from there expansion/booster pack to mod with

LOL, porting too a booster pack.

  Firstly why would we port; to get 10 new unlocks that are irrelvant to SW weaponary; No, to get to vehicles that are irralivant to SW vehicles; no, to get a new map or 2 that are irrelvant to SW; no.

  I think you get the idea.

Hopefully they'll update the codebase which we can recycle to create some new features that aren't in currently, but I doubt it.  Most likely either nothing will come of it that affects us or something will break and we'll have to work around things again.

Its only an extension of the core game, no code or anything. Its the same as the 2 BF2 booster packs
