Another thing I mentioned back in the SF mod was with large buildings it would be really sweet if there were cracks in the buildings that could be blown up creating a doorway into it. Probable wouldn't be too hard too, all you have to do is cut a hole in the original model and plug in a destroyable thing in its place

Remember the destroyable panels in BF2's fences? That's certainly possible.

Of course its possible!!!

JeRK, whats wrong with boarding a space station, a map with lots of ways to battle is ideal, in a space station battle you get dogfighting, cap ship fighting, Objectives to destroy, infantry combat, and maybe some vehicle combat too.

Space Station boarding/objective map = Ultimate Battle.

You can even make the entire station function as a missle silo, but with instead of missiles have big laser guns. Theres a lot of awesome ways to play a map with a space station that is boardable.

I don't want boarding in space maps... if you want infantry, play an infantry map.

Actually, it's quite fun.

GC supported boarding, and as a matter of fact it was quite easy to get onto enemy ships. So you'd have these few, scattered enemy troops coming aboard and quickly getting massacred, but also a few cases where a determined attack was made and you found yourself guarding the entry points used by the enemy marines. I felt a bit like the rebel troops on Tantive IV in A New Hope sometimes tongue (one of the great things about GC - it never forced movie-like moments on you, they just happened).

Nope, the GameCube sucked.

My personal opinion on space maps is the same as Jerk's ...for the most part. Leave cap ship boarding for objective space maps where boarding is the ultimate objective.

No other game got the look and feeling of SW space as Rogue Squadren. Dodging around massive battling cap ships ftw
