As you all know, in BF2 and 2142 (Dunno about the other two games in the series), you could snipe standing up just as well as you could prone. Considering in the same game that lieing prone with an SMG increases your accuracy, this seems very unrealistc.

Some mods incorporate sniping (with heavy rifles) only when prone, but that's also unrealistc. I think the current level of sniping accuracy should be confined only to proning, but you can still get reduced accuracy from crouching and standing.

Zam Wessel stood sniping in Ep II and shot the (moving!) droid Obi-Wan hang on if I recall correctly , however not everyone is a highly trained bounty hunter with fancy rifle so I guess the solution would be a mid-option.

well frankly the realy sniperrifle you unlockin bf2 is to heavy to walk or spint with like that. and it needs a second guy telling you how and where to fire.
thank hamsters nobody put all that in.
as long as we dont get that other mod snipers. it would prefend people from shouting cheater or Haxor at me and NoC guys like siccy wink

BF2 has the M95 .50 cal, and that's a heavy rifle indeed.

You don't actually need anyone to spot for you but it's a hell of a lot easier smile

Are you planning on going down the BF2 path of inaccurate rifles with bullet drop, or the 2142 of super accurate rifles that have sway?
