Topic: Will there be a low-rez option?

I hate admitting it, but my machine sucks. I have all of the settings set to low for normal BF2142, and judging by your released screen shots/models, they seem relatively high-resolution, compared to the low-resolution models when I play, concerning me about lag. So, will I be able to have low-resolution when playing First Strike, or is there only one set of models/textures (or does the game change the textures/models to low resolution)?

Someone should correct me if I'm wrong, but the game should run on your machine using the low settings. smile

I play FS on low settings and it runs just fine.

If you can run BF2142 on low settings you can run FS on low settings.

Yea, should run fine...hopefully better than bf2142.

As for models , when you set to low settings it merely replaces the LOD0 woth the LOD1 mesh. So yea, in FS you'll still be able to lower the settings.
