Topic: Falcon Pods?

I know this is the funny dub video, but skit to 4:40 and start watching. Listen to the guy as he says that the escape pods have been jettisoned. So, will they be included? if I were to put it in, I would say yes. This would be very interesting to have. But it shouldn't be so easy. There should be some 5 second delay to keep people from just jumping out when you're about to die.

All ships that in SW had escape pods should have them in FS.

But it shouldn't be so easy. There should be some 5 second delay to keep people from just jumping out when you're about to die.

I don't really see why. It's not exactly an exploit to abandon a doomed vessel.

Precisely. You're under attack and about to be destroyed. The entire crew abandons its stations, heading to the escape pods. Most likely, the ship gets even more vulnerable since no one is manning helm to carry out evasive action, or manning turrets to return fire. Reaching the escape pods, should the Falcon be modeled to scale, will take several seconds, especially if the vessel is not flying level.
