I'm with TY here (including how he thought the 'rolling' talked about the rolling of starfighters tongue ) - it's a Hollywood feature and I don't really like it.

isn't stormtrooper armor made of a lightweight composite material? So i don't think it would be too hard to be mobile

I recall the feature from SWBF1 and SWBF2. It was a great way of evading fier, but it felt like a arcade style move. I don't believe that this would suit this MOD.
In the movies I recall no Stormtroopers diving and rolling for cover. Not only because they were to bulky maybe to move in such a fashion, but also because they trust their armor to protect them.

Therefor I don't think this would be a good feature to add.

I think it's also that doctrine of Soviet Red Army-style 'we've got 100 000 000 000 men, so it's OK if you die, we'll still have 99 999 999 999 left!'.

this may or may not be true but still if isnt as flexible as simple light cloth.
ever tried on a metal armor? not the weight, but how well you could move in it
