Yeah, Woody.

I'm sorry but I don't think we'll be using them as the Empire never used them in the original movies, and their appearance in SW:BF2 during Galactic Civil War maps just really bugged me. They had the Rebels using them as a transport shuttle which just stunk of developer laziness to me.

'Hmmm, we need a Rebel space troop transport, but I don't remember them having any in the movies, I know, why don't we just use the Republic Gunship? We've got the model for the Clone Wars maps anyway.'

Gaaaahhh!!

I didn't mind the Republic gunship, what I did mind was the lack of a paint job, the Alliance never used any green whatsoever on craft unless it was a squadron marker.

well http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Low_Alti … t/infantry this shows that in the early days of the empire they were still used intill they where replaced but i was looking though the web and i think i found a suitble trasport

and i always drempt of being able to talk to your entire team in voip

a new idea a thought of would be with the comm jammer when deployed would make enemy and allied units dissapire on the radar and the comander can not see them on 3d map veiw also nobody can hear anybody speak while inside a comm jamming feild

The (com) jammers have already been tried. Unfortunatley its not possible sad .

Well it would be possible to make the blips disappear as darktapper was talking about. Just use the sniper decoy coding from NS. A comm jammer could simply make a very loud screeching noise within an area of effect (such as was done in the X-Wing series to block the stormtrooper comms) rudimentary, but effective. Im sure its possible to make a static object produce noise.

a noise would affect your own team aswell tho.

As for the sniper decoy thing. From what understand is it paints a blip , it doesnt take them away. Im no coder but id guess that the decoy thing acts as it does becasue its given the same material as a trooper. if thats the case then i dont see how it could be used to take dots away. We will look into it tho.
