Battlefront I & II sucked. Let's face it. Theres no sort of online replayability to it. My friend and I played the maps via LAN and once we were done, there really wasn't much reason to go back... they don't change, the ai is 'fine' but it's not a real challenge. I felt almost guilty with my high kill counts and low death rate - I die like once or twice a map, usually to my own mistake. Not much to go for online either, it's all like deja vu. The maps were nice looking, but simple. There was no sort of variation in strategy besides capture the control points. The maps were original, you know basic iconic battles we see in every FPS. Nothing new. Nothing worth going back for.
The campaign was a "meh", static maps don't provide for much fun for that kind of stuff. Capture the points should be for skrimishes between players, not campaigns.. that's where I should be doing more specific stuff...
eh.
I think FS can go farther and that's why I'm excited about it.
