Topic: Different Death Star Topic

OK, So I know It was said something about we couldn't have the whole Death Star as part of the map to interact with, etc...

But we can we still have a map with the Death Star off in the distance in the background, no?

So that even if you cant fight in the the Trenches, you can still renact the battle with Ackbar and the Death Star over Endor.

And what are you guys planning exactly to do for the Death Star?

As far as I get it, there will be a Death Star I map where you have the surface of the Death Star as the surface of the map, if you know what I mean, and fight over it in fighters, with turrets shooting at you from the ground. I see no reason why the trench shouldn't be in.

OK, I read the Death Star Topic on page 2 again...Heres what I remembered making me think you can't do something where you interact with the death star:

Ok, look you can simulate having the entire DS without actually having it... Just like games simulate playing on an entire planet. You play an a seemingly flat area of a big-azz sphere.

And if you want to SEE the entire DS then you can put it in the sky box. Like for the Endor space map I assume they are going to have the DS in the sky box as well as the Endor moon next to it.

Its possible to have up to 16 square km of the deathstar's surface, but not the whole sphere.
