Re: music ingame

The game will feature original music made to sound like John Williams' score. It's in the latest trailers and there are samples in a recent news post!

I love the decision, to be honest. Some people (like me) want fresh music, some want the same old classic tunes. Making new music in the spirit of John Williams' themes is a great compromise.

Re: music ingame

I think he was talking about during play-time. Currently, we don't have any such thing. But you can just play it on winamp/WMP in the background with the volume turned down if you really wanted it.

Re: music ingame

I want ingame bursts of music , tho coding it is a different matter . It cant be toggled and i take it some people may want to listen to real star wars music (in which theyd clash horribly) or no music at all.

It does add to the experience but i prefer not to have it play constantly (via winamp) as it can get annoying and fatigues your ears

Re: music ingame

First download and fire up Audacity or some other free sound editing program. Make a dummy sound file of a certain length, say 60-120 seconds. If you want to, make several dummies of different lengths. Then make a playlist of your desired sound files, with the dummy or dummies separating each track. Like:

1. Soundtrack 1
2. [60 sec dummy]
3. Soundtrack 2
4. [30 sec dummy]
5. Soundtrack 3
6. [120 sec dummy]

And so on. Remember to disable the Shuffle feature.
