Topic: Late to the BF2142 party

Just installed Bf2142 last night and played a couple of rounds online with a view to getting some practice in before the FS release.Tried to look for noob friendly server but got totally owned by nearly everone, as most people have been playing for months already and I have only just bought it so I can play FS.
Anyone else having the same Problem?.

Hopefully I'll improve by the time FS is released. sad

I mostly play on Battleforce Camp gibraltar 24/7 64 Players and i got to Chief Petty officer silver in about a week and 2 days.

Crowded servers tend to be easier because the enemies arent putting all their attention on you or a small group. Go in flocks and try to pick some distracted targets.

If you arent satisfied with your results, create a temporary soldier to practise and when you're good enough create a real one which you use to progress in ranks. Try to achieve badges like Assault service/Medic because you get 500 for silver and 1000 for gold badges, which are perfect to gain about 2 ranks in the beginning.

I didnt encounter the problem of being slower than the rest, because i've had BF2 behind me. smile

Ye, I bought the game when it was released and played it like 2 weeks and then stopped. Now about one week ago I installed game again and I felt myself as total newbie. Gameplay was so quick I didn't understand anything what was happening everybody had all unlocks I was getting pwned all the time. But now I'm slowly learning to play it again. It just takes some time to adapt to the game. wink

PS. btw what's your ingame nick?

Thanks for the advice.Hope to put some of it into practice the next chance I get.

well i bought bf2 to see what it was like really and in some ways i prefer it ... in others i don't. Can't beat a fast paced fall of berlin map or camp gil
