Topic: screen resolution help

ive set my command line to 1280 x 1024 but doesn't seem to work only getting 1280 x 960 60 hz

is it not supported, can ya fix? works fine in 2142,

I had to set it with the FS quick launch icon, just having 2142 wont work.
Also if your using plug and play drivers for your monitor, you should change that to the manufacturers drivers.

Use the desktop shortcut for FS and replace the target line with this.

"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\BF2142.exe" +modPath mods/FirstStrike +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024

Just change the 1280 and 1024 for any other res you may need.

..except for some widescreen resolutions/ratios, like 1400x900 [ mine] I think its 16:9 but don't take my word as math is my mortal enemy.
At any rate ,The engine apparently doesn't like wide ratios. smile

Still fun at 1024x768... O_o
time to start saving for another monitor i guess..
