if you ever played swbf2 of swg you should know why where not making lightsabers.
also at the time setting of this mod there where only 4 people (movie lore) that could possibly use lightsabers: luke, yoda, darth vader and the emperor. and the only one you ever truely see fighting on the battlefield are darth vader and luke. with luke beeing a complete noob with it

If there were jedis in this mod, there is no way with the bf engine to limit the number or make it balanced enough. It would just end up being an army of lukes versus an army of vaders.....which sound kind of cool but would get old really fast.

To be fair- The small combat knife you get in the game makes a noise very simular to the light saber!
Maybe the solution to this is to Don your old jedi costume from the wardrobe, close your eyes and wave the knife around for abit wink lol!
