Topic: 2 things regarding medic/ammo support

Apart from the performance and crash problems you all know about, I got 2 things I really want to see in this mod;

1st. Bring back the map icons for medic and ammo supply. When I play medic/support I would like to see who actually needs my help. And when I play an other class nearly nobody seems to pay attention to requests.


2nd. Let the defibrillator not bring a player back to full health. I always found it rather strange that someone that got shot down and whose situation was critical, gets revived back to full health.


Just my 2 cents, I hope you'll pay attention to it smile.  And the mod rocks, but you know that wink .

lion the full heath on revive is a countermeasure again statpadders (even if we dont have stats)
you revive him: 1 Point, heal him to 100%: 1 point

and like i posted somewhere before: stick to your squad and you will see the people that need reviving

I personally agree with both points. We'll see what we can do. Point 1 will definately need to be implemented

Not really. And since not everybody joins a squad, and even less players use medics, I would like to know about everybody that needs a medic within 30 meters. And, like you said yourself, statspadding has no use here. Only having fun does.

I love being a medic. Cover my pie and I guarantee healing and revives! I so far has noticed that whenever someone needs a medic, they look for one and shout it out. I have developed myself a "bacta hearing", which means that whenever my ear catches even a small resemblance to the word "bacta" and I automaticly start locating the requester. big_smile

Also, I know when I got job to do when I hear the wilhelm yell!

hehe yea that true but i cant see the fun in reviving everyone :S
im so used to surround sound that i can hear where people die. so i never relay missed it

i would also like some thing that you can actually see how far you have healed a person yet like in vanilla where u have the circle filling up the more hp he got
