Topic: Capital Ships

Hey FS guys, I really like your mod, it's really well done and is a breath of fresh air into the carcass of 2142. But there is one thing that bothers me about the space maps.

Capital Ships

You guys did a great job with the models and such, they work and fly great, but It'd be cool if the pilot was separate from the main gunner. I find it hard to use WASD AND Arrow keys to fly and somehow pull off a few shots while keeping all the other guns in firing range at the same time! We need the first spot to be piloting only. The corvette and lancer frig could do with a maneuvering upgrade too, they handle like an SSD tongue.

Thats my input, now I have a quick question.

I know piloting a star destroyer is out of the question, but would it be possible to open up seats for the different gunenry spots?

PS: on escape from hoth, is that supposed to be an imperial or victory class SD?

Ehh.......no way should the pilot not have a gun and its an imperial class, vics have a unique looking command deck and weird looking wing like things on the sides (and yes I know they dont have wing things in empire at war)

I wouldn't mind giving up the gun, It's easier to maneuver the cap ships in 3rd person view anyway.

Yea it does look like an impstar, I just wanted clarification because the model pic in the gallery says it's a victory class, could it be a vic 2 class? They looks like the impstars, only smaller.

The features section and gallery need updating. They've been obsolete for a long time.

I have a question about the capital ship gun that only shoots twice and has to recharge.  Is it supposed to be really powerful and used against other capitals?  I would also like it if we could get damage indicators and maybe even lock on.
