Topic: I have looked to see if happened before but

only seen on poor chap from page 4 who never got answered

I cant login to the ea master server.

From the mod or normal bf2142 - so i hit username and pwd and hit ok and nowt

Im looking at my modem and no info is being passed - yet if I come out of that,  all net services are running and i can browse the net etc as per normal - im posting here while its hanging in fact!

All firewalls setting are set to allow bf2142 and the mod through...besided i get a splash when its blocked something and this didnt do that.

Ive had bf2142 running for ages so as soon as ive done this mod i killed 2 games now...

check your shortcut to the mod. (right click: properties) check if its pointing to the right directory
target: "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\BF2142.exe" +modPath mods/FirstStrike +fullscreen 1 +menu 1
start in "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142"

the bf2142.exe is for the dvd version. bf2142launcher for the ea link downloaded install.
the mod is installed into C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\mods\Firststrike. this is the default, if your bf2142 is installed elswere point it to there. But Battlefield 2142\mods\Firststrike should always be correct.
